Alan Watkins - Non-Executive Chairman

Alan Watkins is a seasoned Chairman and Senior Executive with over 30 years of experience within the IT industry.  He has experience in chairing both public and private companies and works closely with the private equity and venture capital industry in the technology, media, and telecommunications sector.  Alan has a proven track record of establishing and growing "fast track" start ups, and a record of recruiting and developing successful teams.

As well as being Chairman of Chronicle Solutions®, Alan Watkins is also chairman of AIM listed Matrix Communications Group Plc, a £60M Virtual Network Operator (VNO), Glasshouse, a Boston based, VC backed storage services company, Appligenics, a VC backed Software House, and Foster MacCallum, an early stage software house.  Previously, Alan had held senior positions within BT, Timeplex, Outsource Group, Giantloop and, most notably, was the founder and Managing Director of Cisco Systems Ltd, Cisco's UK subsidiary.  During this time, he grew the operation from a standing start to over £300M of revenue.

Yiannis Vassiliades, Chief Executive Officer

Yiannis joined Chronicle Solutions in 2007 as VP of Product Management and was appointed CEO in June 2008.  Yiannis brings over 15 years of experience in product management, marketing and business development to the company.  He has a broad experience in the IT industry having held managerial positions at both entrepreneurial companies like Fortisphere, where he was a co-founder, and industry leaders, like CA.

As a Director of Product Management at CA, Yiannis had oversight over the multi-million dollar security and vulnerability management product line.  Aligning these products with goals of the CA Security business unit, he was accountable for the go-to-market strategy and execution, product requirements, development lifecycle as well as directed related product marketing activities.  Prior to CA, Yiannis has also held various technical and leadership positions at IBM, Raytheon, and SilentRunner Inc.

Yiannis got a MBA from the Johns Hopkins University.

Eric Nemeth - Non-Executive Director

Eric Nemeth is the founding partner of the business angels fund MacenInvest1 after a career in banking and finance (member of Deutsche Bank Executive Committee in France, Banque Worms CEO, Detroyat Associes CEO) and in industry at Saint-Gobain where he was, among several assignments, head of corporate finance and investors relations and Glass division controller worldwide.  Eric chairs two French boards, GPV (envelopes manufacturer) and Clesmeca (partition walls), each company with sales around 200M€, and sits on several French and European high tech and industrial companies boards.

Marc Fournier - Société Générale Asset Management

Marc Fournier has nearly 10 years of various operational and entrepreneurial experience, specifically in managing small groups, lifting concepts, and building them into companies by focusing on business development and marketing.  Early in his carrier, Mr. Fournier founded Easy English SARL, a French company specializing in language teaching methodologies.  He successfully sold the company in 1997 to the Institut Français de Gestion, France's largest language school.

Between 1997 and 1999, Marc Fournier served as VP of Marketing of 12degrees Inc., a Silicon Valley based company which provided a CRM solution for large scale customization of travel plans, based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) software.  In 1999, Mr. Fournier co-founded a U.S. - and France-based company, providing venture capital services for early-stage technology companies such as Envivio and Claria (ex-Gator) as well as for venture capital firms.  He also was one of the founders of Kangaroo Village, a French start-up incubator launched in 2000 and acquired by SG AM in June 2002.
